Maus Park Clean-Up

Here are the details: Captivating Shorelines is working on making Maus Park a wonderful city park by restoring the habitat and beautifying the area. In cooperation with the Friends of the Dubuque Parks, we have a fall clean-up day scheduled for November 14 from 8:30-noon at Maus Park at the south end of Huff Street (near the Locust Street Hy-Vee). Please dress for the weather. Although we will have work gloves, bring your favorite loppers, clippers, or handsaws. Sorry we can't have power tools onsite due to liability issues. We will do some tree and shrub trimming, trash pickup, and riverbank improvements. Volunteers can register here.
