Minnesota Mesabi Trail Fully Open

The Mesabi Trail in northeastern Minnesota is officially open now with 165 miles of trail variations. Sections are flat, hilly, iron range, lakeside, and everything in between. Built on a combination of abandoned railroads and highways, old logging and mining roads, and forested terrain, the trail is celebrating their opening. All are encouraged to make it a destination in the near future to see the fall colors. More info can be found here and at their Facebook page. Here is a news story with some scenery.
