The Mesabi Trail in northeastern Minnesota is officially open now with 165 miles of trail variations. Sections are flat, hilly, iron range, lakeside, and everything in between. Built on a combination of abandoned railroads and highways, old logging and mining roads, and forested terrain, the trail is celebrating their opening.
