Completed West John Deere Trail Connection to Little Maquoketa River Mounds Parking Lot

The Little Maquoketa River Mounds State Preserve Parking Lot on Highway 3 north of Dubuque has a new feature this spring. A short connector trail and bridge links walkers and riders to a Highway 3 at-grade crossing, thus completing the parking access for the West John Deere Trail. Riders or walkers can now park in the Little Maquoketa River Mounds State Preserve Lot and travel to the Proving Grounds or John Deere Marsh via this new connector.
